Great aroma, fantastic on mouth. So said it was my last bottle.

Nerd Alert: 87% of the world’s Tempranillo is grown in Spain and its known by 68 other names. It is believed that the origins of the grape comes from the combination of Albillo Mayor (white grape) and Benedicto (red grape).

Personal Note:
There are very few 2005 Rioja’s I haven’t liked, I just didn’t expect this one to be so good. The best part was, I opened it late night on a wednesday, but it was a 500ml bottle and I was pulling an all nighter for work. Needless to say, unlike Thanksgiving dinner, there were no leftovers the next day.
