A crisp, balanced prosecco with a nice aroma, fruit forward and quite refreshing. First time trying it.

Nerd Alert: In 2009 the Prosecco DOCG was created and the grape name Prosecco changed to Glera to protect what it represented to the country and avoid market confusion. The move came after multiple countries started creating their own Prosseco-branded wines. The last straw came after Paris Hilton released her own branded Prosseco in a can.

Personal Note: I bought this wine on a recommendation. Price-quality was a great decision depending where you buy it of course. Don’t go to a gas station and buy it cold and tell me it’s expensive. For me, it’s one of those ‘I’m going to the pool’ companions. A non complicated sparkling. (Yes. In Puerto Rico you can buy wine at a gas station. Cheers abroad).
